In 2008 I graduated from the University of Washington. After working for several years, each job analyzing data to assist either 1) data-driven decision-making, or 2) product development, I felt the need to increase my education in the nascient field of data science. I was accepted to the Master of Information and Data Science program at UC Berkeley and started in January 2015, while working overseas. I will finish the MIDS program in August 2016.
The UC Berkeley Master of Information and Data Science program was designed to train leaders in the ever-evolving field of data science.
